The Vigils — bursting out of the Los Angeles rock n’ roll scene with a sound that harkens back to mid-80s Damned (Phantasmagoria album) and Sisters Of Mercy replete with saxophones, night scenes, and sunglasses after dark. Vocalist/visionary/vampire Daniel Cieplinski started the band back in 2012 with the intent to combine his love for cinema, punk rock, and new romantic dance music. The Vigils approach their sound not as a retro outfit, but from the heart, pulling from the everlasting influences of their youth.
